Barry has been in the electronic system integration business for nearly 10 years, and has designed and build entertainment and automation systems for a variety of luxury estate homes and yachts. In 1991 he founded Interactive Automation.

He was one of the first to be certified as a Professional Designer by the Custom Electronics Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), and he is a Crestron Certified Programmer.

Prior to founding Interactive Automation, Barry earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's in business administration from the University of Maryland at College Park. He served five years in the US Air Force and managed large custom software development projects before changing careers.

Barry brings a unique mix of experience and qualifications to the custom integration projects he manages. He takes great pride in having never left a customer displeased with their system.

Barry lives near Atlanta, Georgia and spends his spare time with his family and occasionally flying his Cessna Cardinal.
